Personally I wouldn't trust a book because so much changes so quickly in the field of breast cancer. While there aren't too many new studies going on with Tamoxifen, many of the older studies have continued and new results are being published in medical journals. For example, earlier this year, the big news was a couple of new results about longer term benefits of Tamoxifen (i.e. does it continue to work beyond the 5 years that you take it). Pretty much everything you'd ever want to know about Tamoxifen is available on the internet. The problem, of course, is weeding through all the garbage and finding the meaningful reports. |
