My friend recently finished chemo and radiation, and was told 2 weeks ago that cancer has spread to her lungs. She is still fighting and has a positive attitude as much as possible. But I know she has struggles with it all, and worries about it and how it will affect her children. I've told her she should never worry about telling me bad news and that she can call me anytime to vent or if she needs help with the kids. I want to be positive for her, but I don't want to act like nothing is wrong. What is the best way to support a friend?

As I said, you are a wonderful friend and please come back and maybe show your friend this site...theres tons of information here as well as more support than I ever knew could be found!!!!!
