Background: I'm 52 with MBC. In 2022 diagnosed with estrogen positive cancer w/high BRCA indicator. Had a double mastectomy and chemo. In February 2024 noticed a lump in the scar tissue from the mastectomy. My doctor and I thought it was just necrotic tissue, but she ordered a PET scan. Not only was it not necrotic tissue,…

Hello again, It’s been a long time since I’ve posted on these forums. I’m almost 10 years out. I had 3 different tumor markers ordered by my GP in Bulgaria and done at an accredited lab. CA-15 (13.1 U/ml) and CEA (1.72 ng/l) were normal but a new marker I’m not familiar with was elevated. It’s called CYFRA 21-1 and seems…

But this time around is different. There is no end of treatment and there is no win per se. I am lost and scared that my next option…
I just finished Taxol #4, this was with a 10% reduced dose. Lots and lots of naps needed. Not used to being so dependent on naps. Slight fever in the 99s, just wondering if this is my new regimine. I was told I will stay on Taxol until it stops working. Estrogen inhibitors like Ibrance, Verzinio, and Faslodex did NOT work…
