Diagnostic mammogram report

Good evening

My report stated suspicious grouped calcifications in the left breast at the 2oclock position 13cm from the nipple that are pleomorphic and suspicious. Should I be concerned?

Hi @quincy55, Unfortunately imaging can’t tell whether a suspicious finding on a mammogram is benign. Most likely you will be referred for a biopsy to obtain tissue to be examined by a pathologist. Hopefully it will be benign but if not this is a good site for information and support. I hope things work out well for you.
