Lymph node removed but pathology says no evidence of lymphatic tissue found!
Has anybody had masectomy with sentinel lymph node removed but pathology says no lymphatic tissue found? I’m seeing breast surgeon tomorrow and oncologist next week. Will I need another procedure? I’m not sure I’m comfortable not having lymph node tested as this is my second time having breast cancer!

Waiting for FISH results
it’s been 2 weeks since my biopsy. Stills waiting on FISH results. I was really hoping to have them by tomorrow when I see my oncologist. How long did your results take? Last time my FISH results came back very quickly.

After 10 years, here I am again. I meet with my oncologist and surgeon soon. Still waiting on HER Fish results. Will be going for an MRI soon. I figure I’m facing mastectomy as I had lumpectomy/radiation the first go round. It’s in same breast.
