Hi Friends. I was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer in June last year and have finished chemotherapy, surgery and radiation . I am on hormonal treatment and am done 8 of 17 herceptin and perjeta. I started chemotherapy in July and developed a lymph node swelling in Augusta. It has stayed since there and my pelvic and abdomen scan and bone scans in January were clear. So oncologist was not concerned and said it’s very rare for breast cancer to go there. But it still is there and she said for my peace of mind will do an ultrasound on that node.. I wonder that when the scans were clear why the in lingual node was swollen. My mind goes crazy on every ache and pain

My son has one that was swollen for a year. They biopsies it and it was benign. they finally traced it back to a few minor wounds on his foot from running. His doctor said even athlete's foot can cause those nodes to swell
