Nannie - sorry about the pain. If you'd fill in my profile with your prior diagnosis & treatment, we'd have a better chance at giving you feed back & support.

Hi Nannie,

We're so sorry for the reasons that bring you back here, worrying, but we're really glad you've come back to us. You're sure to get great support here!

As MinusTwo mentions, it will be helpful for other members to weigh in on your situation if you could fill out your Profile with your diagnostic and treatment information, which will show up in your signature line below your post (as long as you select it to be public). You can fill out your Profile by going to the Person icon in the top right of the screen, clicking the drop down, and selecting My Profile. From there, follow the prompts to fill out your Diagnosis and Treatments. Once it has been finished, you can select to make this information public, and this way others can see the details of your previous diagnosis and what treatments you've had, to help them answer your questions.

Please let us know if you need any help at all with this. We look forward to supporting you!

Call your doctor unless you have a follow up visit coming up soon.

My ILC was found 15 1/2 years after being diagnosed with IDC because I told my doctor I had pain in my breast. She sent me for a diagnostic mammogram. I listed pain on the form for my mammogram. Mammogram was negative but because I listed pain, they did an ultrasound and that showed an area of concern. A biopsy confirmed ILC.

On the flip side, I recently felt pain similar to what I felt in 2018 in my “real breast” and after mammogram, ultrasound and breast MRI, it was negative.

Either way, if cancer is present, it is there and better to know sooner than later. Chances are it isn’t cancer, but I would rather error on the side of caution

I'd keep a log of your symptoms and definitely call your provider. Keep us posted! Hoping all comes back benign
