It sounds like you've already read up on tubular, which I believe is a form of IDC.  And you're right, tubular is normally very slow growing and the lesser concerning of the two.  I actually had a mixed or side by side IDC & ILC lesion, plus two smaller ILC lesions, plus a tiny tubular lesion.  So, while not exactly like yours, I know it's entirely possible to have more than one kind of bc at the same time, which really makes you wonder how things could go that haywire!
