I have a new granddaughter, born Dec 28. She's a beautiful miracle baby, as is her mommy.

Her mom, (my daughter) was diagnose with a rare germ cell cancer, 2. 5years ago. Had her ovary removed, went through very aggressive treatments, critical three times, had two strokes. Ya. Really.

My daughter healed and is healthy and this amazing woman just gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby.

Her pregnancy was considered high risk but all went well. And by the way, my daughter got pregnant right after my diagnosis of breast cancer.  We thought that was a miracle, too -Absolutely baby on the way constantly fed my soul and lifted all of our spirits.

There's my love story for today.  And a story I hope reminds all of us that miracles happen ALL the time.

Maggymaylou, my heart goes out to you as you make decisions nobody should ever have to make, and as you go into treatment. My daughter also considered the option to retrieve eggs, and made the same decision as you... mostly because she was being pressured to start the chemo, and the time it was going to take to have the retrieval process done was concerning.  And now, she has this most amazing one year old, whom we all love and adore.  I wish you the same success story. ~smile~ (Except feel free to skip the part of the story where her treatments were so hard.. wishing you treatments with as few side effects as possible)

I love that miracles happen...I need a miracle. I believe, and work on my belief like Jesus said we should. My breast cancer has come back for the 3rd time, and this time has metastasized. I have a 10 month old grand baby that also is my soul! My gift from God.

thank you.
