Jo-5 I think there is such a saturation of mass produced and admittedly attractive items in shops that sadly many people don't as easily recognise the effort and beauty in a unique, personal production. When there was less of that around people would spot the special easier. Your work is fabulous.

Sorry, Jo, I've just been hunting them down. I have a few, but one that I wanted I can't find the digital version so I will take a picture of it in its frame. Later though.
First, here is a pencil drawing I did for my mom of her dad as a young man. She adored him. Gave it to her for Christmas 2002, she passed early 2004.

This is a digital oil painting of a photograph I took of the Golden Gate Bridge, looking north from San Francisco.

I did it in Corel Painter. You can choose your medium, your brushes, mix your paint, lots of fun. DH wouldn't let me have oils in the house because of the smell. But we have a covered patio which we are closing in, north exposure, lots of windows, and I will have a studio to paint with oils again.

Mags, They're making water based oils now that have far less odor. The smell is why I've never tried to use them.

Ah but I love the smell of oils! Funny, but after 35 years as a graphic artist, I also love the smell of of printing press ink and print shops!

Hi everyone, The last message didn't come out right so I thought I'd try again. This is a picture of my weird dolls. I make them to sell as fund raisers for my favourite charities. I work mainly with recycled materials. Love Muriel
