What did you to thank those that helped with gifts and meals, time and visits? Just a thank you card? Did you put something in it?

I sent thank you cards with notes to everyone who provided a meal or picked up some groceries for us. I have one friend who was amazing and brought me to appointments when my husband couldn't, stayed with me on days that I didn't want to be alone and brought me out when I was feeling good. I bought her a few spa things - bath bombs, face masks, pillow for the tub, etc. so she could pamper herself.
I also found some cute breast cancer support bracelets for $10 and bought a few to give to others who did more

I donated money to have trees planted noted in various parts of the country on behalf of my supporters who lived all over. I posted a picture of the commemorative card on my Caringbridge site to let th eff m know...the card had a massage I'd thanks. The trees symbolized th he life sustaining support they gave me...there were over 100 that supported me near and far...but.I only planted 16 trees in evry part of the US.... for 16 life sustaining chemo infusions.

Scrafgal , what a lovely idea! I may borrow it. What is the name of the group you went through?
