I am four years post early-stage treatment and am now fortunate to be earning a higher income than I had previously. I applied to increase my level of income protection insurance commensurate with my new income but this was denied due to the cancer history. I would love to hear if anyone hashad success with a specific income protection insurer. Thank you!

LeighM, welcome to Breastcancer.org and thank you for your post. Hopefully you'll hear from other members soon with their always helpful personal experiences and advice. In the meantime you may want to read some of the information we offer in our main site on Managing Your Health Insurance. Also, don't forget to fill out your Profile so others can see your diagnostic and treatment information, which will help them answer your questions. You can fill out your profile by clicking the person icon at the top right of your screen, selecting My Profile, and following the prompts to enter your information in the My Diagnoses and My Treatment tabs.

Hope this helps! Please know that we're here if you need us!

Best,
