Yes, and I was also Her2+. I had 20 IST found in my single SNB, but it was not seen in the OR at the time of BMX, this was discovered later in the lab when the more thorough exam is done. Both my BS and MO insisted on ALND surgery due to the aggressiveness of Her2+, and the surgery was done 5 weeks later. A .5cm positive node was found further up in the axilla. My BS is not a reactionary surgeon, does not routinely do ALND, and is one of the pioneers of SNB.

BMX w/ TE 11/1/10, ALND 12/6/10. 14 additional surgeries. TCHx6 2/17-6/2/11. Herceptin until 1/19/12. Femara 8/1/11, Arimidex 6/20/12, back to Femara 6/18/13-present. Dx 9/27/2010, DCIS, Stage 0, Grade 3 Dx 9/27/2010, IDC, Right, 2cm, Stage IIB, Grade 3, 2/14 nodes, ER+/PR+, HER2+

yes, I had a tumor almost the size of the original tumor in the node. I'm not her2+ though

dx 4/11/2007, rt. mast 4/27/2007, 1.7cm IDC, stage 2, Grade 3, 1.4cm tumor in one node,, ER/PR+, Her2-, 4 DD AC, 4 DD T, Arimidex/ 2016 mets to bone, extensive. Femera, Xgeva.

It seems like it has been forever waiting for all tests, Still have a couple of weeks to see oncologist. Scared to hear the details, but I tell myself that once I have a course set it will be better for my mental state. I know you all understand and for that I am grateful.
