For those whose pathology came back with benign findings, how long did you have to wait for results of your biopsy? I had my biopsy on Friday the 28th, and they are still not back as of today, Thursday the 3rd. It feels like an eternity waiting and it makes me wonder if it means the outcome of the biopsy is bad. Thanks

Waiting stinks! But how long you wait has nothing to do with the findings. It just depends on how busy the labs and doctors are.

What ParakeetsRule said -- it's how busy the lab and staff are. Also, best practices would have a second pathologist review results, so that could slow things down, too. My most recent biopsy was done very first appointment on Monday morning and I got results back at the end of the day on Friday. Yes, it seemed like forever, but remember it's covid times. Labs are busy.
