thank you for the warm welcome :) i appreciate it!

going in for an appointment with BS and PS tomorrow. let's see what they say about my case.

smwusaf, i am introverted too. This forum is probably the biggest support group i’ve joined. but lately i have been reaching out to other survivors individually. because some things we just need to hear from survivors themselves. :) let us know how it goes (if you’re comfortable to talk about it

I really enjoyed the evening. They had a guest speaker, a cardiologist, who spoke on the topic of heart health and chemo and radiation, etc. It was very interesting. It was nice to be in a group of ladies do diverse yet with a common theme. There were long term survivors and some still in treatment so it was good to hear stories and get information. They have several outreach type programs for survivors like yoga, art, meditation, etc. It's a bit of a drive for me but I think I will try and go back on occasion. happy valentines day!

appointments with surgeons went okay. a bit overwhelmed and scared of surgery. they explained everything. but also the breast surgeon is out of the country until march 7th. i must have surgery by March 5th at the latest so i’m back to the drawinf board this coming week with looking for a surgeon.

had (still having actually) my first cup of coffee since september. :) i felt i needed a little something to make me happy.

It's malaysian coffee where they roast the coffee beans in butter or something. and it's hazelnut flavored. it's instant but all good i assume.

When the weather is hot, i make iced coffee out of it and put it in my favorite mug.

I hope you ladies are having a great weekend :)

Ugh, Annbee. I hate that you are getting an extra dose of stress. I'll be thinking good thoughts for you and hope your MO has equally reassuring words.

FWIW, I found this on a couple of websites: If you start experiencing pain in your ribs and/or around your breastbone, don't panic; it's probably not cancer. Radiation can cause arthritis-like inflammation, particularly around the area where your ribs connect to your sternum. Do ask your doctor about the pain, but chances are good that you'll be advised to take aspirin, which will likely take care of it.
