Do you clean and organize more thsn usual before check-ups?

I have my 6 month MO check-up thi Friday, and just realized before each one I clean and organize like crazy. Kind of like the nesting the day my son was born many years ago.

Before my surgery I thoroughly cleaned my bedroom, better than it had been done for a long while. And gb2115, I'm not at that stage yet, but frankly it sounds like a good idea.

Nah. I'm not domestic that way, and I think of mammograms, scans, blood tests, etc. as routine maintenance.

I have surgery next week, and I think I'm painting a room this weekend. To be fair, I started working on it before I was diagnosed, but I've really kicked up my cleaning/purging since.

Thank you my friends for your posts. You bring me comfort and make me smile.

Before follow-ups with oncologist, I mentally gather up any sensation or bump or discoloration or whatever that I assume are linked to a recurrence.

He knows I do this and just hears me out. He once said, "We have no secrets here. Just tell me everything and I'll sort it out." I am grateful for this.

Hugs!
