Shirl, the Dragon Boat team meets Sunday mornings at 8:30 at the Youth Aquatic Center on Fiesta Island. If you drive around Fiesta Island, it's the one veer-off to the right that is gated and says restricted access and so on. But we go on in. Usually we are finished about ten, so plenty of time for BCO lunches, but on the 17th, we are welcoming new members, like you, who were intrigued by the UTrib article. Here's a video that was made from our first big outing earlier this summer.We got soundly beaten, but had a blast! Mostly you can see the back of my head a lot, but in picture 24 (of 35 in the gallery at the end), you can see me standing, barefoot, waiting to get in the boat. 4th row (of two) back from head of line, black shorts, visor with purple lei on it, not waving, cause I'm looking at the water!
