I am currently four months pregnant nearly a year after my diagnosis. I was lucky not to need chemotherapy so my situation is a little different from yours. How long have you been on your tamoxifen?

I know this is late. I'm 41. Last year I was diagnosed w DCIS, had lumpectomy and radiation (finished in Nov). I'm now 18 weeks pregnant. I delayed tamoxifen to be able to try . Wow, my non radiated breast is huge right now... the radiated one.. the exact same size. Wonder will I ever have a semi matched set again

You all are giving me hope. I froze embryos and have been very slow to do a transfer, but now have a positive finding on MRI, and have biopsy next week. I'm scared I won't be able to have another baby, but hopeful. I wasn't sure if I'd be able to if the biopsy is positive, but it sounds like it is possible after all.

Due to me having node involvement, my oncologist recommends a surrogate. Im not planning a family right now but when the time comes, I think that I would like to seek another opinion.
So, node involvement and staging of your cancer play a large role in your risk assessment. Make an appointment with your oncologist.
