Hi Guys,

I'm 29 now, 28 when I was diagnosed and I wanted to create this post so that we can share songs that really helped you during your breast cancer treatment. During the worst of my chemo treatments I remember being so fatigued and sad, but I would listen to some of these songs and they would lift me up. I remember googling songs while going through chemo, and there are some lists around but I guess I wanted to create a post where we continuously add songs as we encounter them so it can stay somewhat current. Some of the songs that really helped me:

1.On To Something Good- Ashley Monroe

2. I Told The Storm-Greg O'Quinn N Joyful Noyze

3. Keep Your Head Up-Anthony Grammer

4.The Battle Is Not Yours-Yolanda Adams

5. Survivor-Destiny's Child

6. Roar-Katy Perry/ Part of Me-Katy Perry

7. Still Standing-Monica

8. Reaper-Sia/ Alive-Sia

9. My Testimony-Marvin Sapp/Never Would Have Made It-Marvin Sapp

10.Warrior-Demi Lovato

11. Stand By You-Rachel Platten/Fight Song-Rachel Platten

12.The Storm Is Over-Kirk Franklin/Hold Me Now-Kirk Franklin/My Life Is In Your Hands-Kirk Franklin

13. I'm Gonna Love You Through It-Martina McBride

14. I Am Not My Hair-India Arie ft. Akon

15. Somebody Prayed 4 Me-Nancy Armstrong

16. Break Free Lyrics- Ariana Grande ft. Zedd

17. Shake It Out- Florence & The Machine

18. I Will Survive-Gloria Gaynor

19. Invincible-Kelly Clarkson

20. Rise Up-Andra Day

Please post more songs that helped you get through treatment!

Hi Nclark6,

Sorry I made a mistake of posting my old religious songs on your thread for the young. So I deleted them. Funny but the only song in your list that I am familiar with is "I will Survive". I guess we are all agreed that we want to survive this nasty disease we have in common and I know we will.

Wishing you the best dear
