Although I don't know if I have the BRCA genetic mutation, I just wanted to share that when I was diagnosed I had not met my husband and I had no children either. I was diagnosed at the age of 26 and I had my first child at the age of 27, which was the following year. I have 3 children now and I had no complications with my breast implants, so if you are young and you still want to have children, there is hope. Be encouraged.


Had bilateral mastectomy at age 26, cancer found early, had no treatment, been surviving since. Had a double breast implant replacement in July 2020 Dx 6/2007, DCIS, Right, 1cm, Stage 0, Grade 1, ER-
