Cancer survivorship is like trying to tread water in a very turbulent ocean, especially if you are also suffering from mental health struggles. I was diagnosed with OCD, depression, general anxiety and panic disorder when I was 17. Now I have PTSD to add to that list due to a very rough chemo.

I thought that going through all that during a pandemic was just too much. I fell apart but I put myself back together thanks to years of therapy and support. I never expected to. I literally thought that was it. Years of therapy never really stuck until now. Meditation and mindfulness helped me struggle free from under all that weight and now, all the therapy is flowing back. Without it, I don’t think I would have the courage to be here.
