Sub-muscular silicone implant rupture

Good Morning Ladies,

I'm in need of your advice.

Although I don't have breast cancer, I need your input to navigate the system of removing implants, and possible reconstruction without any implants or fat transfer. It's not quite the same as the awful experience you've had with breast cancer, but it's similar in that some of you have had ruptured implants that were removed.

I'm 72 years old and in fairly good health although three years ago I had DVT's and PEs (pulmonary embolism's) following a knee replacement.

In 1990, I got sub-muscular implants.

2021: MRI says both implants have ruptured.

#1: Need advice for a good surgeon in the Memphis, TN area who has experience removing silicone.

#2: Please tell me about the recovery.
