Welcome to the club none of us wanted to join, but we are so thankful to have one another to lean on, TXWildflower55.
To be perfectly honest, this part of your journey is probably the most difficult. Waiting, not having answers, and letting your mind go to dark places is the worst!
I'll tell you the same thing I was told when I started my journey: Take a breath. Reach out for help & don't be too proud to ask for it. Make a list of all the things you want to know from your doctor. Take care of YOU! (Practice some self-care this weekend because right now you are in such limbo).
As you get 'the plan' from your medical team, your 'new normal' will start to emerge. Your diagnosis will direct what action your team will take for conquering the cancer monster. Some of us get conservative treatments, and some of us get the trifecta triple-whammy. (I fell into that category unfortunately).
On this website, you will discover others who are here to give you guidance and support, prayers and love. All you have to do is ask! These ladies and gents are truly inspirational and will be here to cheer you through whatever your future holds. Feel free to message me if you need a pep talk! You can and will get through this, and we are here for you to guide your journey.
