Underwent surgery for Rt mastectomy in July of 2017 followed by a visit to DF in Boston for a consult on treatment plan. Treatment plan consisted of AC chemo (completed in Fall of 2017) and 5 years of Tamoxifen (through 2022).

Would be willing to share more with BCO if the need still exists.

Feel free to post your questions and share your experiences. How are you going as far as side effects go with the Tamoxifen? Has it been recommended that you have a genetic test?

Tamoxifen blocks estrogen, which is not a great contributor to male libido. Nevertheless tamoxifen has reduced libido as a SE. Not many bc men I know have reported this, but if that’s what you’re experiencing,then I’d talk to a specialist who might offer some solutions.
