Had the most glorious swim yesterday evening. First time I have seen this area deserted and very few boats on the river. That meant that I could explore the shore which I did for about 20 minutes swimming up and down the river about 200' from shore. The light was most extraordinary. Picture below. - Claire

Very pretty, Claire. Here's a picture from our Dog Walk this morning. I have an event at 4:30 this afternoon. If I'm home in time I will catch yoga at 6:30.

Something strange happened on this thread. I contacted the Mods and it's been taken care of. Yesterday there was a post from a new person here. Username was mamarika. The post was a copy of mine that I made a couple of days earlier. Mamarika had just joined yesterday and had a total of 6 posts. I looked at the others and on at least one other thread the same thing of copying someone else's post had happened. That's when I reported the post on this thread and sent the Mods a pm. They got rid of mamarika thank goodness. It creeped me out to see that it had happened, especially since it was my post that was copied.
Walked and kinda ran this evening. It was really hot and I was cautious.

Oh wow wonderland, that is creepy for you.
I had noticed that entry and it had a rhyme to it that caught my interest (I now think it is the teacher in me seeing someone's copied words!) ... but I didn't go digging into it. NOW, I'll really be on the lookout for all those lasagna eaters out there!!
I'm still in PT for my knee, but have been doing 2PT sessions/week and have added restorative and gentle yoga to the mix. That is the plan for August.
Today is a liquid diet prep day for my colonoscopy tomorrow
...so just a bit of waking and a lot of reading. It seems like you should at least get the benefit of a 5lb weight loss from this event, but afraid not.
Happy Wednesday, TT

Glad you are rehabing, TT. Good luck with the prep. Even if I do lose 5 pounds during it, I am so starving when I come to that I gain it back immediately!

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. My schedule the last few days hasn't matched with the exercise classes I like to take. Yesterday I walked & did a yoga DVD. Today I will walk & do some sort of toning DVD.

Final training rides in preparation for my trip. Tomorrow will be a paddle as promises to be hot. I met my large friend on the trail yesterday. Leave for Scotland on Tuesday! - Claire

One of the Chain Lakes on the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes.

Out in the open water from Thursday's kayaking.

Paddled under the I-90 bridge! Note the choppy water from the headwind. Lots of exercise for the return.

Love your pictures, Claire. Looks so refreshing. And the moose - Yikes! I know you're ready to be in Scotland!
I met a friend yesterday to walk. We only walked a mile and then sat in a gazebo and talk. Also this week I have been helping to empty my dh's aunt's mobile home. The ac doesn't work well, in fact only warm air blows out. So within minutes I'm a sweaty mess. Went 3 times this week - it's exhausting mentally bc I'm packing up someone's life and it physically exhausting bc it's so freaking hot!
Hope to get more exercise next week.
