Hi everyone, I am under a breast specialist because of random blood tests that showed an elevated cancer marker a couple of years ago. So I have annual mammograms and U/S - had them last Monday and was expecting my usual review meeting with the 'see you next year'. Not the case - they have found microcalcifications on L side and a complex cyst on R side - none of these were there last year and so I am really worried. I have a stereotactic biopsy on L and FNA on R on Thursday and then because of the public holiday no results until the following Wednesday (the day after my son's 18 :(). My dr. said he normally can look at the results and have a rough idea of the outcome, but he said he honestly has no idea. So I am really trying to not dwell on it and all last week was I pretty good but because the tests are coming up I am really nervous and worried. Has anyone else been through this same situation? Thank you XXX.
