Hello everyone!

This year as my fiance and I began to plan our wedding, his mom began her fight against breast cancer.  She's got 3 rounds of chemo behind her so far, shaved her head, and learned the hard way not to use the microwave while wearing a wig.  All in all she's in good spirits.

We've come up with a creative way to make a BIG donation to Race for the Cure this year (which I always run).

We entered a contest where the grand prize is a paid-for wedding.  If we win, we'll donate the money we would've spent on a wedding to the Komen Race for the Cure... PLUS- my employer matches all charitable donations I make!

To win we need votes, and votes are free!!!

Could you help us by voting, and spreading the word? (we're going to need a TON of votes).  If you feel this is something you support, could you forward this message along?  Email friends, post our link as your facebook status, etc.

Our blog with instructions on how to vote:  http://gillyandjoe.blogspot.com

Thank you in advance for your support!  Voting ends in just 2 weeks!!!

Thank you for your support!

His mom is really touched by the number of people who have come out to support us on this.  And she's also very excited to see her only child get married, and we're hopeful she'll celebrate the day happy and healthy.

Thanks again,     -Gilly
