I start radiation today. I know about moisturizing after treatment, but has anyone been told not to moisturize before treatment each day? If so, when? Just as you are changing into the gown or before you leave home?
Thanks, hoping to hear something soon. The office did not answer...

Dear HartwellJ
It says this in our tips for treatment: Do not apply creams, lotions, etc. 4 hours before treatment. The same list in the imbedded link also offers suggestions on what type of creams, etc to apply after treatment. Here is another link to important information for those starting Radiation Therapy. Hope we got back to you in time. Keep us posted on how your treatment goes and let us know how we can support you throughout.
