The 2D6 is a blood test they do to see if the Tamoxifen is metabolizing in your body. I had it done last month because I don't have a lot of side effects from the Tamoxifen. The test showed that I was metabolizing it just fine. It really put my mind at ease so I can continue taking it for 3 more years. My insurance paid for the entire cost too.
