Hi MelissaAshley,

I was diagnosed as weak PR but diagnosed as TNBC. My doctor said that small amount of PR is of no significance. 1.5 cm to begin. Started with Taxol, grew to 2.0 cm by 11th treatment. Started A/C. Received PCR with BMX. Also had 30 rads. Rads were up in the air, in the end we just decided to do it. Hope you are doing well.

I just got my receptor status. Estrogen was 5% positive (they said they will just call that negative) progesterone was 20% positive and HER2 was negative. Was told since progesterone was so weakly low they will probably just treat it as triple negative. I go Jan 7 for min breast Care team consultation to find out for sure. So I’m following this post

Diagnosed at age 26 with no family history and no genetic mutations. Cancer doesn’t have an age. 5% ER+, 20% PR+, HER2-. My mother, on whose behalf I visit this forum, had stats very similar to yours. I did question the oncologist quite comprehensively on the meaning of the weak pr marker, but she said there would be no benefit to treating the tumour with targeted hormone therapy and it would be considered triple negative.

Good luck
