Hi, did this blood test recently receive FDA approval? Just curious if this is the one my oncologist mentioned. I've been trying to find more info about it, but can't seem to find anything.

My DH just interviewed with a cancer care startup called aiGene - https://www.a-i-gene.com/
The test checks for levels of cancer affected DNA in a blood sample. If a patient starts a treatment regimen and the levels of affected DNA drop, that is a good indicator that the treatment is helping. If the levels do not change or increase, it's an early signal to try a different protocol. If used, it could save months of time and money by more quickly identifying ineffective treatments until an optimal one is determined for any individual cancer patient.
Their tests so far have been with colorectal and lung cancer patients, but they expect their test to be effective for a broad range of cancers. This is a company to keep an eye on. If this is as effective and economical as they hope to be, we would not want to see their research and technology be shuttered by a bottom-line company that decides it can't make money off of healthy people.
