My partner was diagnosed with ER+, PR+, HER 2 neg, DCIS and IDC in Feb. She has strong family hx but BRAC was neg. She had lumpectomy about a month ago, margins were not large enough < 1mm so she requires another surgery, followed by radiation and Tamoxifen. However, tissue sample from lumpectomy was sent for Oncotype test but report says insufficient carcinoma! How can this be possible? Does she really have breast cancer? We are very confused and feeling a bit skeptical. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
BTW, what happened to chat rooms. I dont seem to be able to access them at all. Tx, Pauline

Hi Pauline,
We're sure the others here will have some great advice for you about the Oncotype report soon.
Here's a link to the Chat Rooms, and if you need to access them in the future, you'll find them located in the blue navigation bar on the left of your screen, at the bottom.
Hope this helps!
