Hey all, I have been on Femara for about 3-1/2 years and in the last few months have started running a chronic, low grade fever. It runs between 97.2 to 100.8. Night sweats and hot flashes have increased as well. Anyone else with this side effect. I have been to countless doctors with all kind of test to be told they don't know why I am running a fever except that it isn't an infection. I went to an endocrinologist yesterday and she is the one that told me that Femara can cause fevers and chills. Now I wonder why my oncologist didn't share that same info with me. Thank you all for any help in this matter!!!!

Hi K_locklear59,

According to the main Breastcancer.org site's page on Femara, indeed some women do experience fever with Femara.

There are also some tips on managing fever and hot flashes on the main site.

Hope this helps!
