I read your post that you are in bed 24/7 due to lung mets. Just wanted to know I am thinking of you and praying for you. I hope you can knock this cancer back. It is so difficult to see another sister struggling and being to far away to help. Sending you a (((cyber hug))). I hope things improve soon.

Thank you so much.

Yes, I am mostly in bed 24/7 due to my lung mets..... It is very odd because when I am immobile I can actually breathe quite comfortably, but I do not seem to be able to "graduate" to any kind of exercise or to get off the oxygen... even walking to the bathroom causes me to have breathing problems.

But.... just so you know, I am lucky to have a very good hospital bed that adjusts and using that I can remain very very comfortable. The bed is in our sunroom, and we have also moved my computer and a few other personal things into this room, so I am in a very pleasant place and I am not isolated from the family. I still see them all regularly during the day. My mom is here every morning, and then my husband is home from work later in the day. I am very lucky that I have so much support because it makes my time confined much more relaxed.

It's funny what we can adjust to. This has been a challenge, but I still hope that I will turn some kind of corner and be able to get some independence again. My current chemo is keeping me stable, but my lungs are still crap

Thank you all for your kind thoughts.... I appreciate it so much!

WIth love to all, Joanne
