KiwiCat provided a YouTube link for the video. It is well worth 3 minutes of your time to watch. You don't even need the sound turned up on your device. It is very visual, which may be one reason it's so powerful.

**************

The following video popped up in my Facebook newsfeed tonight, shared randomly by some acquaintance. The woman in the video, Holley, was diagnosed with mbc at age 39. Her video, just a little over 3 minutes long, is simple but powerful and educational and I wanted to share it here. All you have to do is read the cards she holds up one by one.

This link to her facebook page is the only way I could figure out how to add it here, and as of now, when you click on it, her video is the first thing on her timeline. https://www.facebook.com/holley.kitchen

Awareness of the existence of MBC is not enough for us and for anyone who are concerned. This video is great because it’s pushing for a cure. We need a cure urgently. All people who are handling research funds should be aware of the urgency of a cure for MBC. It is MBC that kills so many women, not the primary BC. About 30% primary BC cases, including all stages, will become MBC later. Given the huge base, that's a lot.

Holley is getting some media attention since her video went viral. A FOX affiliate interviewed her oncologist:

http://www.myfoxaustin.com/clip/11586898/segment-metastatic-breast-cancer

It's sort of a piece of fluff, they skirt around the topic, but I thought it was noteworthy to post the link.

She also received so many friend requests on FB she began a "lifers" Facebook page:

https://www.facebook.com/HolleyKitchenCancerLifer/...

I can't get over how she managed to convey so much so simply and in just over 3 minutes time. She also really seemed to nail all the things those with mbc don't want to hear. And I love that she isn't wearing a sliver of pink

I'm curious.. it's an honest question, not trying to be confrontational but has this viral video done anything in the way of fundraising for stage IV? Or started any movement to have a higher percentage of research funds going toward stage IV research?

I would think with this type of exposure, it would lend itself to being able to raise a large amount of money. Or I hope so anyway.
