Hello,

I'm doing weekly taxol for 12 weeks along with herceptin. At my cancer centre, they do the herceptin every three weeks, rather than a lower dose every week. Just wondering if that's the same for others? My MO isn't big on answering questions...thanks!

Thanks for your feedback, all! A comment that one of the chemo nurses made had me wondering if every three weeks was standard of care -- it's reassuring to know it is. I think it was just a careless remark that I took wrong because, well, it's stressful going through cancer treatment!

The early-stage triple positive women typically get Herceptin weekly with Taxol for 12 weeks, and then Herceptin only every three weeks (at triple the dose) for the balance of a year. There are some active "Triple Positive" and "Weekly Taxol" threads.

I got Herceptin every week with the taxol for 12 weeks. Now it's just every three weeks. I am Her + but PR/ER - .

I didn’t know it was different for triple + .
