If biopsy is ordered after US, how long does it usually take to come back?

I had bilateral cancer so I had 2 diagnosis. But each of mine were 4 days. I had biopsies on my right breast on Thursday and got the results on Monday evening. On my left breast I had the biopsies on Friday and got the results on Tuesday afternoon.

The waiting is so hard. It seems like 4 years instead of 4 days. The minutes pass so slowly when you are waiting for answers.

Praying you get good results. Sending hugs to you.

It may depend on the center where you are having it done how quickly everything is processed as well. In smaller communities that may be able to do biopsies they may not have the lab to do the pathology required and prepare the report.
