There are some very talented photographers who are kind enough to post their pictures on various threads, but most of the picture threads have a theme.  This is a thread for photographs.  No theme.  It would be really nice to know where the pictures were taken (if you remember).  If it's a picture that's been downloaded from the Internet that you like, please let us know that. I'll start with a photograph I took this morning when I was fishing with my husband.

Lisa,

I, too, love your rocky coast pic.

We do have a few rocky waterfalls in Ohio, but no Ocean. Smile

Cuyahoga Falls in Cuyahoga Falls Ohio. We were just there last month and they have built a walkway and viewing platforms. You cannot get close to the falls any more.

Hocking Hills State Park Ohio.....This place has so many nooks and crannys, and rocky clifts you can easily get lost if you don't stay on the path.

Joanne

Lisa, I goofed and thought the full moon was on Thursday and I had even looked it up. I had a meeting last night when I realized my mistake and it was too cold and I had too much to do after the meeting to get some pics.

Love your moon pics. Are you using the 65 zoom? I haven't pulled the trigger on that Nikon 125x zoom and it is on backorder anyway. I want to be able to go to a local store and hold one. They are quite bulky and heavy according to the reviews which kind of defeats my whole reason for wanting one.

Can't wait to get the Canon sx70. It has the same zoom, but better other features including bluetooth. I use the wifi feature on the sx70 a lot. Bluetooth even more handy.

I do have a basic SLR Canon but I hardly ever use it.

Thank you Lisa and Aussie. I have been in an ongoing photo competition with a neighboring county forest preserve and I submitted these three pics and two previous ones. We are allowed five submissions per month and it has to be taken in their forest preserves. I received honorable mention in Sept. I have not posted that pic. I am trying to mix things up as much as possible as you never know what they might pic. The nice thing is they post everyone's submission on their Flickr site so you can see what others post. There are many good photographers and they love bird photography which I have only dabbled in so I hope to get more experience with that. You are not allowed to edit the photos much. They do allow filters and minor things.

It was good to get out!

I looked at the pics in my phone and did not realize there were birds in the tree. Great Halloween picture! 😉
