I eat these items all the time and am ER+.  If I couldn't it would really restrict what I eat on a daily basis.  I like a waldorf type chicken salad for lunch with mixed greens, EVOO, add a diced pear or some red beets.  Oven baked chicken for dinner covered in mixed mushrooms, onion, veggies, mash some sweet potatoes and mix up organic chicken stock/gravy.  I eat a few nuts a day as they are very good for you --- just try no to over do as they can be fattening.  Somedays a few Walnuts over a salad, some sunflower seeds over my oat bran cereal with banana, or a few almonds as noon day snack.  Yes, as you mention I do purchase organic items.  Besides poultry I also eat seafood (wild caught) and avoid beef, pork, lamb.  That is just me - avoiding anything on 4 legs.....  I'm sure you will get some other good suggestions for those who do eat some other meat items - - but from a healthy perspective.  (I avoid any soy products or tofu.)

 

Just editted to add that so many people now shop for orgainc products that I would think you should find them in the stores you listed.  Here I shop at Wegmans but if may be a NE regional chain.  Whole Foods is around but can be expensive....
