I had a lumpectomy and re-excision last June. Followed that up with 6 week rads, then 3 months chemo. During chemo I started having truncal lymphedema, went through several weeks of lymphatic massage and got a compression bra.
In the last couple of weeks, the area around my surgery has become very tender...sore to the touch, like it's been bruised. I would chalk it up to lymphedema, but I had an MRI a few weeks ago, and the report said there was a seroma (my MRI report from last July did not indicate a seroma). I did a lot of chores the last few days leading up to a big party, and now my breast is very sore....it hurts to lie on my back, to stretch or reach, even taking a deep breath hurts. Is it possible to start having seroma issues this long after surgery?Log in to post a reply
