Additional help:

What is a web browser?

A web browser is a piece of software used to access the internet. The web browser goes out to grab data, brings it back to you and displays it on your monitor to let you interact with the website.

For users who are using the Microsoft's Windows operating system, the most likely web browser they're using is Internet Explorer, or β€œthe blue E" as some people refer to it. Those using Apple's OS X, their default web browser is Safari.

Internet Explorer and Safari aren't the only web browser options you have. There is also Chrome and Firefox, both of which are free downloads.

What is an operating system?

Operating systems run your computer, laptop, tablet and phone. The operating system is the brain of your computer and is responsible for telling all the other pieces of your computer what to do. When you click on an icon to open up a program it tells your computer what has to happen to wake that application up so that you can use it.

The most common desktop operating system is Microsoft Windows (XP, Vista, 7, etc.), followed by Apple's OS X.

Yours, The Mods

nopink - There isn't anything else you can do except ask the mods to have the tech team delete your treatment details from the data source. The mods stated that they're working on a fix this week. They should have been working on it since day 1 of the redesign, but ???

Mods, If you can't fix the interface, then please correct the profile display for the members posting here by having a tech person delete their treatment data. They have experience deleting data. Remember they deleted 30% of my posts?

Mods - You really should be interested in removing their data. It benefits you.

1) Removes duplicates which will always add unnecessary processing time (in page loading/data mining).

2) Missing, duplicated, or bad data is terrible for data mining. Garbage in, garbage out.

3) Reduces the posts here. We all want that.

When can we expect an update? Have you been able to fix the profile UI?

Mods,

It's Saturday. Ready for your promised end-of-week update on the profile fix.

I'd like to remind you why we share our profiles here. It's not to have BCO use them. We share them so that the other members can see our history. They help our understanding of each other. This is useful when we have questions or want to try to help someone else. Now some profiles are such a mess that we can no longer trust them.

If your tech team is unable to correct the profile display, you need to help the members who want their treatment details deleted by deleting their treatment details. Then we'll know you've heard us.

Here's a tip: You can add additional scripting so that it can be triggered from the profile UI through a Reset button. That would be useful. Users like being able to reset to the default.

Thanks for the reminder, Serenity.

While some smaller profile edits were successfully deployed this week (including keeping your free-form signature in the profile while editing, as well as successfully completing the profile widget without error messages), the diagnosis/treatment info showing in profile is now slated for next week's deployments, given there are no issues during QA of the fix. The full list of next weeks deployments will be available on the release notes page by end of day Friday.
