@mcbaker I am happy you found your son. I know what joy this can bring. Seven years ago my half-sister and I found each other on ancestry, and we have become immediate best friends. In fact she arrives tomorrow for a visit. We text daily. I have three half-siblings from the same bio dad who passed eight years ago so he never knew we connected, and we have visited each other several times. They all share the same bio-mom and bio dad. My bio-mom also passed eight years ago and so far I have found one half-brother through ancestry, but I am not actively searching for others although I know they are out there. Since I am unable to travel or do much, I have decided to leave it up to them to find me and of course I respond to whatever pops up on ancestry.

Ancestry is really the best option. So few states have open records. You can screen them to make sure it isn't going to be a disaster. It just takes patience. I was beginning to think he had died. His mother had passed, and his father isn't doing well. I will be on a video call with him on Friday.

I see a cousin took over from her aunt. I can repair my dad's side. His grandfather had two families.
