hi all, this was the cryptoquote in the WI State Journal yesterday. Not a haiku but share-worthy.
Winter is an etching,
Spring a watercolor,
Summer an oil painting and
Autumn a mosaic of them all.

A fall mosaic I'd like to share

Badger, thanks! Lovely quote. I love criptoquips too.
Magiclight that is beautiful. This is one of my favorite Autumn sights now.

Time flies so quickly
Running faster every year
Slow down and ENJOY.

no Haiku, but poetry. An oldie, but goodie
Autumn Falls
The vista glows in tones
of orange and red,
The eyes take it in,
Until the soul is fed.
Preparing for the days
Of little but black and white,
Trying to absorb
Every color within sight.
For when those days of darkness,
Begin to heavy weigh;
Go deep within,
Without a doubt,
That's where the colors stay.

It takes forever
To get to that 5 year mark
Yet it goes so fast

Congrats on five years!
I'm coming up on seven.
Years pass; still no cure.

That is in cancer years

No poem, just thanks to all who post here for words that comfort, that challenge, that encourage, that beam, that go deep within.

I loved the haikus. Very nice everyone
Here is my Christmas poem, no not a haiku, but a fun one:
CHRISTMAS CHEER
Christmas comes but once a year,
lots of fun and lots of cheer.
Food's great, and the company too
Its just that there's so much to do!
Buy the presents, trim the tree
Hope a present's there for me.
Haul out the wreaths and the lights,
Colors shine right through the night
Wrapping paper piled so high
Only one more gift to buy.
When it seems to never end
There's always just one more to send.
Sudd'nly before you knew it
Budget's tossed and you just blew it.
Bank account is just a wreck
That's OK and what the heck.
Christmas comes just once a year,
That's ENOUGH of all that cheer!!!!
