The day of dread has arrived. I am thrilled to read the memes of MLK. Having someone to admire and look up to will help me greatly get through the day and hopefully beyond. I do have some hope (had it all along to a degree) that a number of things FG wants to do will not be able to come to fruition. Even if he couldn't do a lot of things, just the fact that so many of my 'fellow' citizens chose to vote for such a vile person tends to evoke dismay and sadness.

I am going to try and think today mainly of all the people I admire — like MLK, Corrie Ten-Boom, Albert Einstein, Barack Obama and many others. I want to celebrate the best in us and not any misfits that barely make it to human being level.
