Any Long term two time breast cancer survivors out there?

Hello
I was diagnosed with breast cancer (Triple positive) in 2017, went through the whole gamut of treatment - masectomy, taxol / Herceptin and 5 years of tamoxifen. It was classified last stage 1 early stage.
Two years after I stopped tamoxifen, I got diagnosed with breast cancer again. This time it's ER/PR positive but Her2 negative, stage 3
I am currently started undergoing the whole range of systematic treatment again - chemo, surgery, radiation, hormone therapy.
But I am so depressed. I don't know if it's worth it.
Looking for hope and light.
Please anyone out there who is a long term survivor of Breast Cancer twice, Please reach out and share your experience.
Thank you

Look up 7of9 - she has had a couple of brushes with breast cancer- slightly different story from yours but one that will give you hope. There is also a post on the Success Stories thread where someone had their first BC in the 30s, a second in their 50s and were still going strong in their 70s.
I would be demanding lifelong tamoxifen/AI in your position.
What grade is your current cancer? Have you a family history/had genetic testing?
Wishing you all the very best with your treatment. Hang on in there. We all feel very bleak at the start of the stage 3 journey but it does get better.

I have been around for more than 20 years, first diagnosis Stage 2A in 2004 and second time Stage 4 in 2021, I was asked to stop Tamoxifen after 14 years and 3 years after stopping had a recurrence.. now u am on Faslodex and Ibrance and am doing perfectly fine for more than 3 years. I know how you feel, just hang in there and it will be fine..

She hasn't posted on here in a while, but mavericksmom has had breast cancer 3 times- twice in one breast and once in the other. As far as I know, her treatments were all successful, and I assume that she's not posting because she has moved on and is living her life.
