Low positive ER, HER2+ treatment

I'm wondering if anyone has had early stage cancer that is low positive ER and HER2+? My ER is only 5%, but my oncologist wants me to do the standard radiation/tamoxifen protocol. I've seen several studies that indicate a low positive ER should be treated as negative, and that hormone therapy doesn't help low positive ER cancers, but he's pretty adamant. I don't want to take tamoxifen if I don't have to, and I kind of want to address the HER2 (3+) issue too. A complicating factor is that it's DCIS with microinvasion (multi foci, grade 3) so it's a very small, very early stage cancer with some aggressive markers. I'd love to hear what others in similar situations have chosen to do.
