I Don't Know What To Do!🥺
Hi! Im here cause I dont what to do, my mom has been diagnosed with breast cancer and it's an advanced cancer. She already had her left breast removed and now undergoing a chemotherapy. She's now in her third session. My mom keep on having episodes of pain all over her bones, and this always happen every night and also complains that sometimes shes out of breath. It pains everytime I see her suffer. I wish I could have her pain instead. I want to help her ease the pain but I dont know what to do. I hope you could help me. Thank you!

Bone pain and shortness of breath are side effects that deserve attention, so it’s really important that your mom let her oncology team know what’s happening, especially if the pain is worsening or affecting her breathing. They can adjust her medications or prescribe something to make her more comfortable.
You’re clearly a very caring daughter, and your mom is lucky to have your love and support through this. Please know that we’re here for you too.

@ eyohmyloh When I was going through chemotherapy, my daughter sat with me either during or after every infusion. That was the treasure she gave me. Chemotherapy is very hard, but your mom should come out much stronger and you will be even closer to her.
