We need your inspirational words! Partnership with Uncommon Goods

What inspires you, gives you hope, and keeps you going during tough times?

We have a special project in the works with our partners at Uncommon Goods. A subtle QR code, like the one shown here, will unlock daily reflections, words of wisdom, and self-care themes on a mug specially designed for people facing breast cancer.

Here are some great examples already shared by this community:

“Think about each stair, not the staircase.”

“You don't have to be strong every moment. It's okay to let go and just be.”

If you are offering a favorite quote or mantra, please cite the source. Otherwise, all quotes will be attributed to the Breastcancer.org Community.

The proceeds from the sale of the mug on Uncommon Goods will benefit Breastcancer.org, this community, and our education programs.

Share with us below and thank you for your participation in helping us with this exciting project!

Oh, and my other favorite one is a spin off of "when one door closes, another one opens, but sometimes it's HELL in the hallway". This one stuck with me when I was in waiting mode. Waiting for the biopsy results, waiting to get in to the surgeon, waiting to get into the oncologist, waiting to start chemo, to finish chemo, to have surgery, to get better after surgery to start radiation…And this may not be what you wanted, but it honestly was where myself and my warped sense of humor was.
