in Just Diagnosed

Hi just got diagnosed on may 11th have breast cancer on left breast very tiny will have to do surgery in July really nervous about it any info would be great thx Dianna

    Hi @deedee88z, I'm sorry for the reason you are joining us here; this is a good site for information and support, After I was diagnosed I was surprised to discover there were many variations of breast cancer and consequently many treatments. As well as the tumor size the cancer receptors (ER,PR, HER2) determine the treatment that is recommended.

    My lumpectomy done by a breast surgeon trained in oncoplastic surgery went well and I had an excellent cosmetic result even though my tumor was 3.2 cm. Come back with any specific questions you have. All the best.
