Having had a new biopsy yesterday, the day before my birthday, for an anticipated stage 2 recurrence, I am now looking and learning about recurrence vs new, mastectomy with nipples but without implants, and new long-term side effects on top of CIPN. Yes. Would love to share with other Senior women. Thank you ❤️

Sorry that you are dealing with a recurrence/new primary. It's quite the gut-punch when you thought you were past all of this isn't it? Randomly, my 2nd dx was a week before my 66th birthday. In my case, it had been 19 years and was in the other breast, so assumed it was a new primary.

Sorry to hear you have new long term side effects. I don't know what CIPN stands for….

I hope you are getting a plan in place with your providers as that often makes people feel more in control.
